Pariharam

Lord Budhan (Planet Mercury) is facing North direction which is the direction for Lord Kubera (the Lord of wealth). Hence, it is believed that whoever worships him will get dignified job or business. People with Mercury doshas (as per their horoscope) pray to this God. As this temples insists the need for the couple to be united always, it is believed that couple who worships here will never separate in their life time.

Pariharam Procedure

There is a stone window with 12 holes in the shrine of Lord Polla Pillaiyar. People pray to this Vinayagar and handover their child to Him through this window and get back the child which is a rare type of prayer commitment. Due to this, it is believed that the child gets Lord Vinayaka's protection, bestowed with longevity and excel in education.
