Pariharam

As this place is so sacred that Lord Mars (Chevvai) himself is relieved from his curse by praying this Lord, it is advised for those affected by Chevvai dosha to pray here to get immediate relief.

Pariharam Procedure

Those celebrating the Valaikappu (Seemantham) for the pregnant women, offer the first bangle to the Goddess here. It is noteworthy, till today there is not a single maternity hospital in places around the temple. Their faith is so deep that by the grace of Kali, the delivery would safely occur in their respective house itself. As the Lord grants every boon, the vastra (Robe and a towel) are woven separately for HIM and given as an offering to the Lord.
